SUBSTITUTES FOR ALL POSITIONS:  We are currently in need of substitutes for all positions.

If you hold a 2 year degree (60 college credits) you can substitute as a paraprofessional or take and pass the ParaPro Test.   To learn more about how to become highly qualified by passing the ParaPro test, click here for more information

If you hold a 4 year college degree, you can apply for a short call substitute license through Minnesota Department of Education.  click on licensing.  This license will be good for 2 years.

Come and Drive For Us!  Lake Superior School District is accepting applications for Bus Drivers.  Basic Requirements:   at least 21yrs of age, valid driver’s license with School Bus Endorsement or willing to obtain, have a clear background check and ability to pass a drug test and DOT physicalFlexible Hours: Work in the morning, work in the afternoon or work both times. Homebound Special Ed Teacher:    Homebound special education teacher for an elementary student.  8 hours per week.  Hours to be determined.    Student resides in the city of Two Harbors.  Must be licensed in special education.   Please submit valid licensure, application and 3 letters of reference.  Open until filled.

Two Harbors High School Open Positions:

1.0 FTE FACS Teacher:  THHS is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Family and Consumer Science Teacher for the 17.18 school year.  Requirements:  FACS licensure and related secondary licensure.  CTE Preferred or willing to obtain.  Please submit a cover letter, completed application, valid MN licensure, 3 letters of recommendation and a current resume.  Open until filled.

Driver Education Instructor:  Lake Super School District Community Education is currently seeking a part time Drivers Education Instructor to provide required classroom instruction and behind the wheel instruction.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Classroom Driver Education,Behind The Wheel instruction, communication and scheduling.  Qualified applicants must hold a MN teaching license with Driver Education certification. Employee will participate in workshops/continuing ed on driving practices and new laws as presented by the Department of Public Safety, Department of Transportation and Department of Education.
