Come and Drive For Us!  Lake Superior School District is accepting applications for Bus Drivers.  Basic Requirements:   at least 21yrs of age, valid driver’s license with School Bus Endorsement or willing to obtain, have a clear background check and ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical Flexible Hours: Work in the morning, work in the afternoon or work both times. Two Harbors High School Open Positions:

6th Grade LTS Teacher:  THHS is accepting applications for a  LTS, Social Studies Licensed Preferred.  Start date:  December 10, 2018 – January 24, 2019 (approximately)  Please submit a completed application, cover letter and valid MN licensure.  Open until filled.

Paraprofessional Positions:

All Paraprofessional position must be highly qualified which is 60 college credits or have taken and passed the ParaPro Test.   Please submit a completed application, cover letter and 3 letters of reference.  Subject to a background check.   Please submit to the District Office or by email to

ParaProfessional LPN/RN:  Must be licensed LPN/RN.  Approximate times:  9:45 a.m. – 4:20 p.m., Mon-Thursday, 6.08 hours per day/24.32 hours per week.

SUBSTITUTES FOR ALL POSITIONS:  We are currently in need of substitutes for all positions.

If you hold a 2 year degree (60 college credits) you can substitute as a paraprofessional or take and pass the ParaPro Test.   To learn more about how to become highly qualified by passing the ParaPro test, click here for more information

If you hold a 4 year college degree, you can apply for a short call substitute license through Minnesota Department of Education; click on licensing.  This license will be good for 2 years.
