K-12 Students

Summerblue Arts
Summerblue is a multi-arts program offering participation, discovery, and lasting memories, in theater, dance, music, and art for youth ages 7-17. At Summerblue, students’ imagination and self-expression will find a place to play, increasing their self-confidence while developing natural creative skills into lifelong tools for all walks of life.

Unique to the Summerblue program is the chance for students to “major” in one area of the arts and “minor” in another; for example, rehearsing in a play or musical in the morning then dancing in the afternoon. The goal is to provide students with both enough immersion for real growth yet options to explore a variety of interests. The staff of professional artists was chosen not only for their experience in their respective fields, but also for their many years of success working with young people. Director Lon Church was born and raised in Two Harbors. He has taught theater and dance to students of all ages for eight years. His professional experience also includes work as an actor, director and choreographer.
