Come and Drive For Us!  Lake Superior School District is accepting applications for Bus Drivers.  Basic Requirements:   at least 21yrs of age, valid driver’s license with School Bus Endorsement or willing to obtain, have a clear background check and ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical Flexible Hours: Work in the morning, work in the afternoon or work both times. Type 3 Vehicle Driver:   Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 -2:00 p.m.  This is driving a suburban/van and needs a driver certification done at the local bus garage.  Must have a clean driving record.

ECFE Parent Educator,Location: William Kelley School, Silver Bay, MN:  Salary Per Lake Superior School District Education contract.  Minimum requirements: Current Minnesota Parent Education, Family Education and/or Early Education license preferred; Birth – Grade 3, Primary and K license considered.  Schedule:  Approximately 6-8 hours per week for 26 week ECFE session.  Day and evening hours required.    Please submit a completed application, cover letter, license and 3 letters of recommendation.  Submit by email to dpeterson@isd381.org

SUBSTITUTES FOR ALL POSITIONS:  We are currently in need of substitutes for all positions.

If you hold a 2 year degree (60 college credits) you can substitute as a paraprofessional or take and pass the ParaPro Test.   To learn more about how to become highly qualified by passing the ParaPro test, click here for more information

If you hold a 4 year college degree, you can apply for a short call substitute license through Minnesota Department of Education; click on licensing.  This license will be good for 2 years.
