School Nurse Substitutes:   Nurse substitutes needed.  Please submit a completed application and copy of nurse license LPN/RN.

Paraprofessional Substitute: Paraprofessional substitute positions available at all schools.  Monday – Thursday, 7:45 a.m. – 3:20 p.m.

Substitute Teachers We are currently in need of substitutes for all positions.

• • If you hold a 2 year degree (60 college credits) you can substitute as a paraprofessional or take and pass the ParaPro Test.
  • If you hold a 4 year college degree, you can apply for a short call substitute license through Minnesota Department of Education; click on licensing.  This license will be good for 3 years.

Administrative Assistant, WKS:   10 Month Position (172 days per school year) 6 hours per day, 7:30 a.m. -2:00 p.m.  AFSCME Council 5, Local 66 Clerical Unit, Hourly rate:  $21.51 Deadline to apply:  4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026  Subject to a background check.   Please submit a completed application and resume with references.

Assistant Head Custodian:  The Assistant Head Custodian assists in the overall maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and operation of the assigned school facility and grounds. This position performs custodial, maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and groundskeeping duties while supporting the Head Custodian in daily operations and staff coordination. The Assistant Head Custodian must be capable of independently assuming the responsibilities of the Head Custodian during absences, including supervision of custodial staff, oversight of building systems, coordination of maintenance activities, and ensuring safe and efficient facility operations.  Subject to a background check.  Pay and benefits according to the Local 70, International Union of Operating Engineers.   

Paraprofessional:   Paraprofessional Position, full time position at the WKS.  Must be highly qualified, which is 60 college credits or take and pass the ParaPro Test.  Subject to a background check.   Pay and benefits according to the  AFSCME Council 5,  Hourly rate:  $19.54  Please submit a completed application.  Open untl filled.
